“AlipayHK Uber APP A. Point reward” Terms & Conditions

General Terms and Conditions of “AlipayHK Uber APP  A. Point reward” (the “Promotion”):

1. Unless otherwise specified, the Promotion runs from now to 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).

2.  An Eligible User (as defined below) can get double A. Point if they complete/satisfy the following task/condition within the Promotion Period: (i) already added AlipayHK as a payment method on Uber APP and (ii) completing the AlipayHK payment on Uber APP in respect of a qualifying trip on a Monday. Double A. Point will be calculated based on the amount of payment completed on Mondays.

3. This Promotion is offered only to an Eligible User(s).  An “Eligible User” refers to a natural person with legal capacity who uses the AlipayHK App and Wallet service, and not merely an AlipayHK account.  To prevent the risk of theft or misuse of an AlipayHK account, mobile phone number, mobile device or bank/credit card number, take note that in the following circumstances ((i) Connection to the same mobile phone or mobile device by multiple accounts, such as the logging in or activation of multiple accounts; (ii) connection to an AlipayHK account or mobile number by multiple mobile phones or mobile devices, such as the logging in or activation on such devices; or (iii) the same credit card/bank card number being connected to multiple AlipayHK accounts), AlipayHK may take steps to verify an Eligible User’s identity and/or suspend or terminate any promotion or reward relating to such account(s).  AlipayHK reserves its right to take further legal action against such infringing account(s) and their relevant user.

4. Rewards under this Promotion are limited in quantity and on a first-come-first-served basis. AlipayHK’s records shall prevail under any circumstances.

5. AlipayHK will carry out this Promotion in accordance with applicable laws in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In the event this Promotion is stopped by government agency’s orders or must be suspended due to server network attack or system failure or any circumstances beyond AlipayHK’s control, such event shall be regarded as a force majeure event, and neither AlipayHK nor Uber can be held liable for any damage, loss or dispute therein.

6. AlipayHK reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate the Promotion or its terms and conditions at its sole discretion without prior notice. Neither AlipayHK nor Uber shall be liable for any such change, suspension or termination and AlipayHK and Uber reserve the right of final decision of all the matters and disputes.

7. The Promotion is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The qualifying trip must be a trip within Hong Kong with both the start time and finish time of the trip within the Promotion Period and must be booked via the Uber App. 

8. An Eligible User can only have one Uber App account. If Uber has reasonable grounds to suspect that a user is creating fraudulent or multiple accounts or otherwise violating Uber General Terms of Use or Uber Community Guidelines, Uber may suspend or terminate the user account and/or the access to any promotion by the user.  

9. Uber is not responsible, and disclaims all liability, for A. Point, products, services and information offered by AlipayHK and/or third parties in connection with the Promotion.

10. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and the Chinese version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
