- ‘Uber Eats Match Ready Competition’ (the “Competition”) entry available until 11:59pm on Sunday 4th July 2021 (the “Competition Period”).
- There are 50 Prizes available in the Competition. The prize consists of a football bundle, including vintage football shirt (chosen at random), football kit bag, jar of nut snacks, scented candle and football stickers (the “Prize”).
- Prize does not include spending money, travel expenses, tax or personal expenses. There is no cash alternative to the Prize.
- To enter the Competition, apply one (1) of the following codes at the checkout of any restaurant on the Uber Eats app on any order for delivery over the value of £20.00 during the Competition Period. The code will also give customers 20% off their order (maximum discount £10, delivery fee and service fee will still apply). Code corresponds to the shirt size entrants would like to receive if selected as a winner. Sizes will be honoured where possible, but due to quantities being subject to availability, winners may receive a different size to that which they’ve requested.

- Code cannot be used alongside other promotions or discount codes.
- Valid on one (1) order made via the Uber Eats app to residents of the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or older.
- Duplicate entries to the Competition will not be accepted.
- Only one Prize per person.
- The winners will be chosen by random in the Prize draw performed by a computer process on Wednesday 7th July 2021.
- Winners’ personal details including name, contact number, email address and postal address will be shared with the third parties Hope&Glory PR, The Robin Collective Ltd and Royal Mail, and will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion. Personal data supplied during the course of this Competition will only be processed as set out in Uber’s Privacy Policy.
- Winners will be notified via an email from lisa.barlow@hopeandglorypr.com by Thursday 8th July 2021 with an estimated delivery date. This email may also go through to a junk or spam folder.
- Any prizes will be sent to the delivery address from the entry order, and not the billing address on the account. No changes to the address will be allowed.
- Prizes will be sent via Royal Mail, first class tracked. If prizes are not received by Friday 16th July 2021, please contact lisa.barlow@hopeandglorypr.com.
- If winners are not available to accept the Prize bundle, Uber Eats will not be held responsible for fulfilling any delivery rearrangements, nor if the delivery carrier leaves the parcel elsewhere. This includes but is not limited to; with a neighbour, in a safe place, or returning to the depot. Uber Eats will not arrange a replacement.
- The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Uber Eats reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of greater or equal value.
- By participating in this promotion, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. Uber Eats reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prizes to anyone in breach of these Terms. The Uber Eats reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so (in Uber Eats sole discretion).
- Uber Eats reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be published by the promoter.
- Uber Eats accepts no responsibility for entries to the Competition not being successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure.
- Uber Eats assumes no responsibility for any typographical or other error in the administration of the Competition, errors in processing entries, identifying the winner, announcing the winner or the delivery of the Competition.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, Uber Eats, their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Uber Eats, their agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. Any liability of the Uber Eats arising in connection with the Competition shall be several and the Uber Eats accepts no joint and several liability in connection with the Competition.
- The decision of Uber Eats regarding any aspect of the Competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- Uber Eats’ decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition including the determination of the eligibility of entries is final. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
- Employees of Uber Eats, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Competition are not permitted to enter the Competition. Proof of age and/or identity and/or residency may be required.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or part thereof. In the event that any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions, or parts thereof, will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Uber Eat’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms.
- In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in the Competition–related materials and these Terms, these Terms shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Uber’s sole and absolute discretion.
- Except where prohibited by law, participants agree that any dispute, conflict or controversy, howsoever arising out of or broadly in connection with or relating to the Competition or the Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and shall be first mandatorily submitted to settlement proceedings under the International Chamber of Commerce Mediation Rules (ICC Mediation Rules). If the said dispute has not been settled within 60 (sixty) days after a request for Mediation has been submitted under the said ICC Mediation Rules, such dispute shall be exclusively and finally resolved by arbitration under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Arbitration Rules). The ICC Rules’ Emergency Arbitrator provisions are excluded. The dispute shall be resolved by one arbitrator to be appointed in accordance with the ICC Rules. The place of arbitration shall be Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The language of the arbitration shall be English.
