This makes it easier than ever to get around, whether you’re off to the airport, out on the town with friends or heading home at the end of the evening.

All cars are still booked through Uber’s app which we believe provides the most convenient and cost effective ride in town.

Tap Promotions in the Uber app and add the code to automatically apply it to your account.

To mark the occasion, fares for trips starting in North Tyneside and Gateshead are up to 10% lower than fares in the rest of the region.

Open the Uber app today to request a safe, convenient and affordable ride at the tap of a button. An uberX trip from Trinity Square to the Eldon Square will cost around £3, and a trip from Whitley Bay to the Osborne Road will cost around £13.

To redeem the code, a new user of the Uber service must have a smartphone with GPS capability, have downloaded the Uber app, registered and have active internet connection.
New Uber users who enter the code before requesting their first ride will get up to £15 off their first ride.
The code may only be used once by each new Uber user and will be valid from 04/11/2016 through to 04/11/2017 (inclusive).
The code is redeemable for a one-time discount to be used toward the total cost of a new user’s first ride on the Uber platform. If the new user’s ride costs less than £15, the remaining amount cannot be rolled over.
The code is not valid for use on the UberTAXI product.
The code cannot be transferred, duplicated or sold and there is no cash value.
The code is limited to use in the UK in locations where Uber is available only.
Successful redemption of the code is subject to the availability of Uber partner-drivers.
