Adding instant convenience for renters with rewards from Uber for Business: Get Living Case Study
14 January 2021 / United Kingdom
Get Living, the UK’s champion for a better way of renting has partnered with Uber for Business to reward their residents and future customers while going the extra mile to add convenience to their daily lives.
About Get Living
As the pioneer of build-to-rent in the UK, Get Living currently operates 3,000 homes across London and Manchester. Starting out in 2013 with one clear mission to provide simple, hassle-free renting, Get Living disrupted the rental market with it’s no fees, no deposits proposition and customer-centric approach.
Get Living offers quality, fully furnished, stylish homes in big city neighbourhoods featuring independent retailers, open green spaces, and a real sense of community, fostered through events and a dedicated customer service team in each of its location.
Choosing partnerships
The partnership with Uber for Business is the first collaboration of this kind for the company. After conducting extensive research this year, Get Living learnt that many of its residents are already frequently using Uber and Uber Eats and so wanted to build this into its customer experience.
Uber’s convenient, easy-to-use platform and existing infrastructure appealed to Get Living, as the team was looking to partner with a similarly customer-obsessed brand while putting safety first in light of the pandemic.
Steven Osei, Head of Brand Experience and Partnerships at Get Living, comments: “We’ve spent this year really delving into customer insights to understand how we can broaden our offer while continuing to provide frictionless living experiences for those who choose to rent with us.
“We’re aligned with Uber’s model of convenience and saw the collaboration as an opportunity to help our customers do more. We’re delighted to add exclusive discounts and credits across Uber Rides and Eats to our list of benefits when you join the Get Living community.”
Adding value daily
By focusing on added value, the team at Get Living was looking for a way to help their residents travel safely, as well as for a convenient and safe way to deliver meals to their doorstep, especially in the ever-changing landscape of 2020 UK restrictions.
Client acquisition and lifestyle changes
With the launch of this partnership, Get Living residents not only get pet-friendly, fully furnished homes, with no deposits or fees, free WiFi, and access to a calendar of social events, but also receive up to £150 per month during their first 12 month of tenancy to spend on Uber Rides and Eats.
By connecting their clients to local vendors and restaurants, Get Living helps their customers engage with the local community and benefit from the amazing food scene London and Manchester have to offer.
Get Living has made the partnership available for both new and existing residents, ahead of the launch a further 500 homes in Manchester next year.
By anticipating the lifestyle needs of its customers and a genuine desire to make their lives easier, this latest innovation is another proof point for why Get Living is not your average landlord.
