1. Your French residence permit has expired, and your renewal request is being processed. You can provide one of the following documents:
Receipt of a residence permit application with the mentions “Requested the renewal of the residence permit” and “Authorizes the holder to work.”
Certificate of extension of the processing of a residence permit renewal request, currently valid.
Certificate of favorable decision on a residence permit renewal request, issued less than 2 months ago, confirming the issuance of a residence permit with one of the accepted mentions listed previously, whose validity has already begun.
Certificate of extension of the processing of a residence permit request with the mention “Subsidiary protection,” currently valid.
Certificate of extension of the processing of a residence permit request with the mention “Recognized refugee,” currently valid.
2. Your request for the issuance of a first French residence permit is being processed. You can provide one of the following documents:
Receipt of a residence permit application with the mention “Requested the issuance of a first residence permit” as well as one of the accepted mentions listed previously.
Certificate of extension of the processing of a residence permit request with the mention “Subsidiary protection,” currently valid.
Certificate of extension of the processing of a residence permit request with the mention “Recognized refugee,” currently valid.
