Uber Reserve has arrived – plan ahead to have rides waiting for you

Uber Reserve is now also available at Geneva and Zurich airports! For extra ease of mind when traveling to and from these airports, you can now book your trip up to 30 days in advance.

Just reserve your ride in the Uber App in the usual way and select Zurich or Geneva airport as your pick-up location. In the next step, you can then enter your flight details, so that your driver gets notified automatically in case of delays.

This way, you are always sure to have someone waiting for you upon your arrival. For up to 60 minutes.

This option is available for Uber Black option only. To offer you maximum comfort on your way from the airport.

Reserve a ride that’s ready when you are. Now, more than ever, reservations are a way of life—reserve a Uber experience up to 30 days in advance, for whenever you’re ready to ride. Simply tap the Reserve icon in the latest version of the Uber app.

Your ride happens on your schedule, with up to 5 minutes of wait time included.

Reserve vehicles in peace with your favorite drivers with the options UberX, Comfort, Black or Van.

The option Uber Black is available in Geneva and Zurich. Uber Van is for now only available in Geneva.

Reservation fee and cancellation:

You can cancel your ride request free of charge up to 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time. If you cancel less than 60 minutes before the reservation, the total price of the trip for Black and Van will be charged to you.

For any ride with the options Black and Van, the driver will charge a reservation fee of CHF 8.

The minimum amount for rides with the options Black and Van is CHF 41. 

Waiting time of up to 15 minutes with Black and Van is free. Beyond this time, the driver can cancel the trip and the total price of the trip for the options Uber Black and Van will be charged to you.

Your reservation is not confirmed until you have received your trip details. Your driver is however free to cancel your request for a trip. In this case, the trip request will be assigned to another nearby driver. Please note that Uber cannot guarantee that a driver will accept your request for a ride.

The option UberX is available in Geneva, Zurich, Lausanne, Basel and Winterthur. Uber Comfort is available in Geneva and Zurich.

For airports:

Only available at Zurich and Geneva airports with the Uber Black option.

You can cancel your ride request free of charge up to one hour before the scheduled departure time. If you cancel less than an hour before the reservation, you will be charged for the total price of the trip.

Waiting time of up to one hour after the estimated arrival time of your flight is free of charge. After that, the driver can cancel the trip and the total price will be charged to you.

For any Uber Reserve ride at the airports a booking fee of CHF 32 is charged.

Your booking is only confirmed once you have received your journey details. However, your driver remains free to cancel your trip request. In this case, the ride request will be assigned to another nearby driver. Please note that Uber cannot guarantee that a driver will accept your ride request.
