From UberPOP to UberX

Let us introduce you to the evolution of the Uber app in Lausanne.

From March the 1st 2018: all the drivers on the Uber app will own a professional driving license B121. This means that, in Lausanne, the only available option will be uberX. This change will allow uberPOP drivers to become professional drivers and use the Uber app as a source of revenues.

How will this change impact your experience?

From now on all the drivers on the Uber app will be professional drivers who will offer a very qualitative experience.

But this also means that there will be fewer drivers available on the app which will create longer waiting time and higher fares, especially at peak times.
