World Water Day , on 22 March every year, is about taking action to tackle the water crisis. Today, there are over 663 million people living without a safe water supply close to home, spending countless hours queuing or trekking to distant sources, and coping with the health impacts of using contaminated water.
To create more conscious communities of both riders and partner drivers, and make them reflect on water consumption and waste; we have decided to partner with Tupperware to support World Water Day.
From today until the end of the week a selection of Uber around the city have been equipped with special Tupperware bottles – bring them home! The bottles will be “riding” around the city for the whole week, and please, feel free to help yourself and start using and re-using them! It’s a small gesture to start reducing the amount of plastic we use and throw away.
Cherry on the cake! You can also take part in our daily contests to win CHF50 in Uber credits and gifts from Tupperware! Enter the promocode “UBERWWD” in the Uber app and you’ll enter the sweepstakes! Good luck!
You can win everyday* (you’ll need to enter the promo code only once).
Tupperware prizes: Sandwich box (one per day), Cup (one per day) and micro urban millenial (one per week).
Terms & conditions: Participation is open to everyone, is free of charge and is only valid by applying the promocode UBERWWD to the Uber rider account until March 26. It is not necessary to take an Uber ride in order to participate. Participants must be 18 or older. The prize includes CHF 50 worth in Uber credits as well as a Tupperware sandwich box, cup or micro urban millenial set). Maximum prize value is CHF 100.
