People in over 400 cities around the world are benefiting from ridesharing. Unfortunately, British Columbians are not.
To date, British Columbia remains the largest jurisdiction in North America without ridesharing. While cities like Toronto, Ottawa, and even our neighbour Bellingham enjoy the benefits of Uber, our province is falling behind.
With your help, we can change this. Premier Christy Clark and the BC government have the opportunity to act quickly and craft sensible ridesharing regulations for the province, so that:
- Riders can enjoy safe, affordable, reliable transportation
- Drivers can enjoy flexible income earning opportunities, and
- Cities can enjoy the benefits of fewer cars on the road, less impaired driving and fewer DUIs, and more transportation options to complement existing public transit.
Tell Premier Clark and the BC government that ridesharing services like Uber belong in British Columbia. Make your voice heard today.
