For this fourth experience, we celebrated Tia—a driver in Toronto who’s received a ton of ‘Expert Navigator’ compliments.
Tia is a single mom of 4 wonderful children. To help them navigate what each day brings, we decided to surprise Tia with a brand new car!
Meet Tia
Born and raised in Toronto, Tia has been driving with Uber for 3 years—it’s allowed her fall in love with her city again. She enjoys being in the community and helping people get to their destination.
Tia is a mother of 4 kids, 3 boys and 1 girl, ranging from 9 to 16 years old. They work well as a family and support one another. When she picks them up from school, they shout ‘My Uber trip is here!’.
For Tia, the great thing about driving with Uber is that she gets to be home with her family for the important moments. She’s able to work around her family’s busy schedule and being a mom.
