Introducing “Tipping”, our latest feature available in Uber and Uber Eats

To thank your driver or courier for their great service, you can now show your appreciation by giving them tips through the app.
The feature that is available in both Uber and Uber Eats apps is a new way to better meet drivers and riders’ expectations but also reward them for their exceptional quality of service.
How does it work?
At the end of your ride or delivery, you can now leave a tip to your driver directly in the Uber app after the ride and to the courier in the Uber Eats app a few minutes after the delivery.
All you need to do is:
- Download the latest version of the Uber and Uber Eats apps.
- Add a tip after rating your trip or delivery. Select from a range of preset amounts or enter a custom amount.
- Tap Done to send your tip.
You have 5 days after the ride or delivery to leave a tip. Tips go directly to your driver, Uber receives no service fees.
