At Uber, we’re passionate about making our city better. Together with hundreds of local driver partners we keep Brussels moving and we energize the local economy, helping make streets safer from drunk and distracted driving, and fostering a more connected, less congested environment.

	Filip \| General Manager
	After working several years as a consultant, travelling around the world and managing his own startup in NYC, Filip came back to Belgium in March 2014 to join Uber right after its launch in Brussels. As the General Manager of Uber Belgium, his best achievement so far was bringing together such an amazing and diverse team. Fun facts: Filip used to be a chess champion when he was a kid and he played guitar in a heavy metal band during his teen years! His favorite hobby is getting dropped off by an Uber in the middle of the Sonian forest and running back to the city center.
	Laura \| Marketing Manager
	Laura joined Uber in May 2014 as the first Marketing Manager in Brussels after spending several years in Marketing & Communication in the chemical industry. She directly embraced the challenge of developing the brand in the city and has been enjoying it since the very first day! Today Laura is more focussed on communication and brand image. Between Korean roots and deep “belgitude”, she is particularly interested in gastronomy, fashion and art. And beer. Fun fact: She does ballet. (No, she’s not wearing a tutu every week)
	Joost \| Operations Manager
	After working several years for The Boston Consulting Group in Brussels and Boston and completing an MBA at INSEAD in Singapore and France, Joost decided to join Uber as an Operations Manager in January 2015. His main challenge is to get drivers on the road as smoothly as possible and he secretly gets a kick out of complex data analysis. Fun facts: Joost likes all sorts of sports (snowboarding, running, football…) and he sometimes tries to create his own cocktails!
	Klaas \| Marketing Manager
	Before joining Uber, Klaas was “wheelie good” at selling car tires online with his own startup. Graduated as a lawyer, he never grew up euhm he never stopped learning and started working as a strategic planner in an ad agency. Now he arrived at Uber where he has one job: grow our community and keep them happy. Besides that, he’s on a lifelong quest for the perfect spare ribs!
	Gauthier \| Operations Manager
	Gauthier – who originally started in the hospitality sector – joined Uber early 2015 after working two years in London for another popular startup. At Uber, he handles the operations growth across Brussels and puts all his energy and enthusiasm to convince you to become a driver on the network. Fun fact: he’s always looking for some nice stuff for his place; you will often find him on flea markets very early in the morning trying to find the rarest jewels of Nordic vintage furniture.
	Jelle \| Operations Manager
	After 4 years of working and travelling as a consultant across Europe and obtaining his MBA from INSEAD, Jelle joined Uber in February 2015 as an Operations Manager. In his spare time, he loves to be in the outdoors, either hang gliding, skiing or hiking. During the week he is always up for a game of squash or basketball (and especially drinking a beer afterwards…) and one of his favourite activities since he recently moved to Brussels is discovering new neighbourhoods during the weekend.
	Greg \| Marketing Manager
	Gregory started his career at L’Oréal almost five years ago. Not really fond of make-up & skincare he decided to move to a more “party spirit” environment… Bacardi. There he learned the basics of making a proper Martini! However, the cycle would not be complete if you can’t manage to go back home safely. A final stop at Uber as a Marketing Manager was then really logical. Fun facts: He grows an old school moustache from time to time. He’s also secretly fan of One-Piece jump suit, lazy Sundays and buying useless stuff on Amazon.
