Do you already have a license for remunerated passenger transport, including a driver’s pass and a license card for for your vehicle? 
Follow the following steps to become an Uber Partner – Driver in Flanders.
Sign up in the Uber app or on the website to create a driver account.
Submit your documents through the Uber website or app. After your documents are submitted, Uber will reach out to you to book an activation session.
During the activation session at the GreenLight Hub in Brussels your account will be activated.
Final step is to go online and start driving!

Drive under a Fleet Partner
Do you prefer driving under a Fleet Partner instead of for your own? When driving under a Fleet Partner, all you need to drive is a driver’s pass and a driving licence with a valid medical examination for paid passenger transport. Follow the following steps to drive under a Fleet Partner.
Sign up in the Uber app or on the website to create a driver account.
Submit your identity card, your bestuurderspas, and your driver’s license with a medical fitness to drive certificate through the Uber website or app.
Connect with one of our Fleet Partners. Uber will reach out to you to book an activation session.
During the activation session at the GreenLight Hub in Brussels your account will be activated.
Final step is to go online and start driving!

Safety requirements

Feel safe while driving with Uber. As an Uber Partner – driver you will receive masks and sanitizers.

For safety reasons you must have a partition screen in your car. Uber helps you get a screen. How does it work?

1. Make an appointment at the pick – up location in Aalst.
2. The costs of the screen are 47,50 EU. Uber will refund these costs after you have completed 75 trips within 6 months with the Uber-app.
3. Install the screen. It is your own responsibility to install the screen correctly. It is also possible to have the screen installed during your appointment. The costs for this are € 20 and you will not be reimbursed.
