JAAGO Foundation is going to host its annual signature event National Youth Assembly for 3rd consecutive year from 9 – 12 March, 2019 at Cox’s Bazar. National Youth Assembly is JAAGO Foundation’s endeavour initiated under its Youth Development Program named Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD). We are proud to be a part of an endeavour that mobilises and empowers the youth of the nation.
The objective is to enlighten the youth with SDG, build leadership skills and involve them in mainstream development. This is a 4-day long residential program, where youth participants from all over the country get together with top organisations, their representatives, recognised personalities, ministers, ambassadors and other decision makers of the society. Youth volunteers from VBD share their ideas, perspectives, plans and the work they had done over the past year in community building. Guest participants share their experiences, ideas, expectations towards the youth, who are the future leaders of the country.
Finally, these volunteers, who are the most active youth citizens, get back to their respective districts and work on community building activities, chasing the SDG goals in the following year.
