- To enter, you need to access the Chicken Drumroll Game, then tap your thumbs on the drum icon to Play the Chicken Drumroll Game.
- Depending on the speed of your thumb tapping and availability of prizes at the time that you play the Chicken Drumroll Game, you may win an instant prize.
- Winners will be instantly notified via the Chicken Drumroll Game. Permits: ACT TP 22/01788.3, NSW TP/00224, SA T22/1441.

2. Overview
- This Competition is promoted by Uber Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 49 160 299 865) (we, us or our).
- By entering this Competition, all entrants (you or your) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (Terms) and our privacy policy. Any breach of these Terms or our privacy policy may result in disqualification from the Competition.
- To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and any other reference to this Competition, these Terms prevail.
- Chicken Drumroll Game means the Competition web app game promoted by us, including via Instagram and in electronic direct message to Uber Eats account holders.
- Force Majeure Event means an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, acts of war, riots, vandalism, failure or shortage of power supplies or other essential utility, pandemic, epidemic, quarantine or other widespread or serious threat to human health (including an outbreak or recurrence), strike, a change in applicable law or platform rules, government imposed shutdown or closure, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or technical failures, down time or issues.
- Immediate Families means any of the following (whether natural, step or adopted): spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew or sibling.
- Intellectual Property Rights means all patents, rights to inventions, copyright, trade marks, trade names and domain names, rights in goodwill, rights in confidential information and any other intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered and including all applications for, and renewals or extensions of, such rights and all similar rights which subsist now or in future anywhere in the world.
- Personal Information has the meaning in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
- Play means tap the onscreen chicken drumsticks as many times as you can in 20 seconds in the Chicken Drumroll Game.
- Prize Category means the relevant prize category set out in clause 7.1.
- Related Bodies Corporate has the meaning in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
4. Eligibility
- The Competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
- Employees and contractors (and their Immediate Families) of Uber Australia Pty Ltd, our Related Bodies Corporate and the agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to participate in this Competition.
- This Competition involves both elements of skill and chance.
- You are required to demonstrate skill and talent in your entry to be ranked in a Prize Category. Once ranked, prizes are awarded based on chance and subject to availability.
- To enter this Competition, you must, during the Promotion Period:
- click on the links to the Chicken Drumroll Game promoted by us;
- read the introduction screen on how to Play the Chicken Drumroll Game; and
- Play the Chicken Drumroll Game by hitting the ‘play’ button.
- This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok or Meta.
- You can enter as many times as you like during the Promotion Period except:
- you may only Play the Chicken Drumroll Game up to 3 times in a single 24 hour period; and
- if you win a prize you cannot play the Chicken Drumroll Game again until 24 hours has elapsed since you won.
6. Determination
- If you complete all steps outlined at clause 5.3, your entry may be eligible to win a prize. You will know if you have been allocated as a potential winner because you will immediately see a message that notifies you of the potential prize you have won. However, not all entrants are guaranteed a prize and prize nominations may be re-ranked (see clause 6.5).
- There will be up to 3,376 winners in total across the Promotion Period being:
- up to approximately 160 winners per day; and
- up to approximately 6 winners per hour.
- Your entry will be ranked into 1 of the following indicative Prize Categories based on how fast you Play the Chicken Drumroll Game:

- 4. Once your entry has been indicatively ranked into a Prize Category, there is a chance you may win a prize from that corresponding Prize Category depending on prize availability at the time you play the Chicken Drumroll Game.

- awarded by chance by a computer generated selection process based on the relevant Prize Category your entry was placed in; and
- subject to availability of prizes on the time and day of your entry during the Promotion Period.

- 5. If you win, you will only win 1 of the prizes listed in the applicable Prize Categories in clause 7.1 (subject to the Prize Category re-ranking references in clause 6.5), and the type will be notified to you instantly via the Chicken Drumroll Game.
7. Prizes

- 2. The total prize pool for the Competition is AUD$91,400 (inclusive of any GST).

- 5. Uber Eats promo codes are only redeemable to purchase KFC products via the Uber Eats app.

8. Outcome and prize conditions
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 prize winners will be instantly notified via the Chicken Drumroll Game and will be directed to complete a prize redemption form by inputting their legal name, email address and nominated Australian delivery address so that prizes can be shipped to the winner.
- Tier 3 winners will be instantly notified via the Chicken Drumroll Game and instantly receive their prize notification.
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 Prizes must be claimed as offered via the redemption form within the Chicken Drumroll Game.
- If you are offered a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Prize and do not claim such prize via the redemption form within the Chicken Drumroll Game at the time the prize is offered, you will forfeit the prize and it will return to the prize pool available for other potential winners.
- It is your responsibility to notify us in writing if your contact details change. Uber Eats promo codes are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Uber Eats promo codes are only redeemable to purchase KFC products via the Uber Eats app;
- Uber Eats promo codes must be redeemed not later than 11.59pm on 31 December 2022; and
- Uber Eats promo codes are not redeemable for money.
- Delivery fee applies to orders placed with KFC via the Uber Eats app.
- The details of the winners (eg last name, initial of the first name and postcode) will be published either on our websites, social media pages and/or in any other promotional material, in any manner, where we are required to do so at law or where we otherwise consider it relevant to do so. By entering the Competition, you consent to us publishing your details in this manner.
- Prize determination is final. Prizes are not transferable, saleable or redeemable as cash, credit or equivalent.
- You should seek independent advice, including financial advice, as implications (such as tax) may arise as a result of winning the prize.
9. Entries
- You are responsible for your entry.
- We are not liable in any way for your entry, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- You warrant and agree that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing privacy, publicity and the access or use of others’ computer or communication systems.
- We will not accept entries submitted after the end of the Promotional Period.
- We may, at any time:
- verify the validity of entries and entrants (including your identity, age and place of residence); and
- disqualify any entrant whose entry is not in accordance with these Terms or who otherwise tampers or interferes with the entry process.
- Incomplete, illegible, falsified or fraudulent entries will be invalid at our discretion.
- We are not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, late or misdirected entries.
- If there is a dispute as to your identity or details, we reserve the right to determine your identity or details and our determination is final.
10. Personal Information
- Entries may be entered into a database.
- By entering this Competition, you consent to us:
- publishing your Personal Information, or disclosing your Personal Information as required by relevant laws;
- using your Personal Information to communicate with you about this Competition, including contacting you if you are a winner; and
- using your name, likeness and entry (including its contents and musical composition) in any media, worldwide, for an unlimited period for promotional purposes without payment to you, including for the purposes of promoting this Competition and any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by us or our Related Bodies Corporate.
- If you wish to access, or for us to update, correct or delete, your Personal Information or information in your entry, contact us using the details in clause 13.6.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
- Subject to clause 11.1 and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our Related Bodies Corporate (and each of their officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents):
- are not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure or any other event beyond our control. In these circumstances, if we elect to cancel or postpone the Competition, we do so without liability and may reschedule it on the same terms;
- make no express or implied warranties, representations or guarantees, in fact or in law, regarding this Competition or the merchantability, quality or fitness for purpose of any part of the prizes; and
- exclude all liability (including for negligence) for any personal injury or loss or damage (including for loss of opportunity, business, goodwill or profits), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including where arising out of:
- any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under our control);
- any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
- any entry or prize claim that fails to be transmitted or is cancelled, delayed, deleted, interrupted or late (whether or not after our receipt or otherwise);
- any variation in prize value or specification;
- any tax liability or similar charge incurred by the winner; or
- use of a prize by the winner.
- We are not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer systems, servers, providers or equipment, software, traffic congestion on the internet or any website, or any combination of those, including any injury or damage to entrants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Competition.
- You are solely responsible for any costs associated with entering the Competition, noting these costs depend on the internet service provider you use.
- Without limiting any other terms, you indemnify us and our Related Bodies Corporate (and their officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents) from and against your breach of these Terms.
12. Disruption to Competition
- If, for any reason, this Competition is affected or interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as planned due to a Force Majeure Event, including where such circumstance corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, we may, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- disqualify any entrant who tampers or interferes with the entry process; or
- subject to required regulatory approval, cancel, terminate, modify, reschedule or suspend the Competition, as appropriate.
- Any entrant found to be tampering or interfering with the entry process will have all entries invalidated and any claim to a prize will be invalidated. We will determine whether a breach has occurred at our discretion and may request any documentation we consider necessary to assist with our assessment. You must immediately provide any requested documentation at your cost.
13. General
- Any failure to enforce our rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- Any part of these Terms that is illegal, void or unenforceable may be severed, and the remainder will continue in force.
- At all relevant times, you must comply with the Uber Terms of Use.
- This Competition and any issues relating to the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
