What is Pre-Match?
With Pre-Match, the Uber Driver app will prompt you to leave the Perth Airport T1 & T2 holding area a few minutes before you actually get a request. While you’re driving to the terminal, you’ll receive a pickup request on your way. Pre-Match is only currently available on uberX at the T1 & T2 at Perth Airport.
Where is Pre-Match available?
Pre-Match is available for all uberX partners at T1 & T2 at Perth Airport only.
How will I know if I get a Pre-Match trip?
A notification will appear in your Uber Driver app that will tell you to head to the T1 & T2 terminals to receive a ride request. See below.

What happens if I get a Pre-Match notification, but then I don’t end up getting a request at the terminal?
Although rare, there are times when you may be prompted to head to the terminal, but you won’t get a pickup request. In this case, you should return to the Perth Airport T1 & T2 holding area. You will not lose your place in line if your Pre-Match notification doesn’t result in a trip. You’ll return to the front of the line as soon as you get back to the holding area. See image below. Pre-Match predicts when the next request is coming, but sometimes flight delays and other complications can make requests hard to predict.

What if I leave before I get the Pre-Match notification?
It’s important to wait until you get a Pre-Match notification. If you head to the terminal before Pre-Match prompts you, then you will not keep your spot in line.
What if I don’t leave when I get the Pre-Match notification?
If Pre-Match instructs you to start heading towards the terminal and you remain in the holding area, then the request may go to another driver.
