This summer, we’re thrilled to team up with FRINGE WORLD, one of Australia’s fastest growing  festivals, to make sure you enjoy each moment of festival action.
Held from 18 January-17 February 2019, the largest annual event in Western Australia is set to dazzle audiences with a sensational program of cabaret, comedy, music, art, performance, and circus acts.
To celebrate our partnership as the official ride of FRINGE WORLD, we’re taking the festival to the streets with our roving art car and exclusive backseat performances. Plus, we’ll be surprising lucky riders with FRINGE WORLD tickets and special giveaways throughout the festival. So, remember to ride with Uber during the festival for your chance to win these exciting prizes.

Enjoy an #UberFringe Backseat Gig
From stage door to car door, we’re extending the magic of FRINGE WORLD by hosting exclusive, intimate gigs inside the backseats of #UberFringe cars.
Heading to FRINGE WORLD? For your chance to be serenaded by Fringe musicians or dazzled by Fringe magicians, simply request an Uber ride during the festival, between Monday to Friday, from 5pm-8pm and select the the ride option ‘Backseat Gig.’
Simply share your ‘Backseat Gig’ experience on Instagram during the festival and use #UberFringe and #BackseatGig to stand a chance to win $100 worth of Uber rides. It’s that easy!
Backseat Gigs will be available in selected areas only. We expect demand to be high, so please be patient if you can’t get a ride right away.
Hidden tickets up for grabs (from 27 January-8 Feb)
We’re bringing magic to the roads of Perth with our signature #UberFringe art cars celebrating the festival themes: Pride, Circus, Magic and Cabaret. To up the ante, we’re giving away festival tickets every weekday from January 27 to 8 Feb — a total of 100 tickets up for grabs. Hidden tickets terms & conditions
1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
2. The promoter is Uber Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 49 160 299 865) (“Uber”).
3. Entry to the promotion is free of charge.
4. Competition runs from from Monday 28th Jan 2019 – Friday 8th Feb 2019.
5. To enter, eligible individuals must:
  Tune in to the Uber Australia social media channel on Facebook @uberoz for clues on where the location of the #UberFringe car is each day
  
  Listen out on radio channel Hit92.9 for clues on where the location of the #UberFringe car is each day
  
  Head to the hidden location and find the #UberFringe car for your chance to receive 2 free tickets to Fringe Festival
  
  10 tickets a day will be given out on a first come, first served basis while tickets last
6. The competition is a game of Skill. Winners will receive a prize if they are in the first 5 people (each person will win 2 tickets) to arrive at the #UberFringe car.
7. Prizes cannot be transferred. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
8. Uber reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Uber, includes objectionable content, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry or who has, in the opinion of Uber, engaged in conduct in entering the promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the competition and/or Uber. 12. Each prize entitles the winner to 2 x tickets per person to the Perth Fringe Festival
13. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by Uber then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. Uber reserve the right to replace a prize (or any part of it) with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Uber’s control make it necessary to do so. A Prize (or any part of it) is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not for sale, and no substitution by the winner and no cash alternative is offered.
14. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook or Instagram. By submitting an entry, you agree to release Instagram from all liability in relation to the contest.
15. Uber reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion and / or these Terms and Conditions where it becomes necessary to do so.
16. Insofar as is permitted by law, Uber, their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a participator accept any liability (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising out of or in connection with any participant’s participation in the Promotion or taking up the Prize, whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not Uber or their affiliates have been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage, personal injury or death. Your statutory rights are not affected.
17. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms and Conditions will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or part thereof. In the event that any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions, or parts thereof, will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Promoters’ failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms and Conditions.
18. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in the Promotion–related materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
19. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these terms and conditions, or the rights and obligations of the participants and Uber or its affiliates in connection with the Promotion or the Prize (whether contractual or non-contractual), shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
Backseat gig contest terms & conditions

  Take a photo/video alongside the Uber Backseat Gig and upload it to Instagram (your profile must be set to public)
  
  Incorporate the hashtag #UberFringe and #BackseatGig in the caption
  
  Tag the official Uber Australia Instagram page @Uber_Australia (using the tag feature)
6. The competition is a game of Skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. Winners will be selected based on:.
  Best use of incorporating the brand in the image
  
  Creativity and energy shown via the entry
