To make your experience at Chadstone – The Fashion Capital even easier we now have dedicated Uber pickup and dropoff locations around the centre.
To celebrate, we’re giving away a $1,000 Chadstone gift card to one lucky rider every day during our Ride and Win week. To enter, simply take a ride to or from The Fashion Capital between June 4 and June 10 2018 and you’ll be in with a chance to win.
Pickup Zone Locations
When you’re ready to request your ride you’ll be prompted to select one of the new zones across the centre. Choose the location closest to you and follow the in-app instructions for where to meet your driver.
Pickup point 1 – Woolworths Car Park
For pickup point 1, head towards the Woolworths Car Park located at the south east of the centre, following signs to ‘Car Park E’ entrance.
Pickup point 2 – David Jones
For pickup point 2, head towards the David Jones exit located at the west of the centre, following signs to ‘Car Park A’ entrance.

‘Ride and Win’ Competition Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions of Entry – Competition for Uber Pickup Zones Launch at Chadstone – The Fashion Capital
1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The promoter is Uber Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 49 160 299 865) of Level 8, 1 O’Connell St, Sydney NSW 2000 (“Promoter”).
3. Entry is only open to individuals aged 18 years or over who take a trip to or from Chadstone Shopping Centre using the new Uber Pickup and Drop Off Zones. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. The promotion commences at 12.00am on 04/06/2018 and ends at 11:59pm on 10/06/2018 (“Promotional Period”). All times indicated are in EST Melbourne time.
5. To enter the Promotion, you must complete the following during the Promotional Period: take a trip to or from Chadstone Shopping Centre using the new Uber Pick Up and Drop Off Zones.
6. A maximum of two entries will be permitted per person per day and subsequent entries will be disregarded.
7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
9. The draw of the Promotion will take place at 10:00am on 11/06/2018 at 64 Gwynne St, Cremorne VIC 3121. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
10. The winner(s) will be notified by telephone and email on the day of the draw and their name will be published on uber.com from the date of the draw.
11. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. There will be 1 winner each day of the promotional period (7 winners in total). The prize for the competition is a Chadstone Gift Card to the value of $1000. Prizes may have their own terms and conditions and any winner may be required to comply with those conditions. Prizes will be delivered to the winner by courier.
13. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be taken as cash unless specified otherwise.
14. A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place at the same time and place as the original draw 30 days from the date of the initial draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winner(s), if any, will be notified by phone on the day of the unclaimed prize draw and their name will be published on uber.com from the date of the subsequent draw.
15. If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any directions of any regulatory authority.
16. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
17. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the state the draw is conducted (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
18. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (e) taking/use of a prize.
