Open Your City with the Heineken Chauffeur

Want to experience the best your city has to offer?

Over the next 10 weeks, we’ve partnered with Heineken and some of our favourite city hotspots to give you and your friends a free city adventure with The Heineken Chauffeur. 

At the push of a button, the Heineken Chauffeur will take you and up to three friends to a mystery location in a premium UberBLACK vehicle between 6pm-9pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from September 25 to November 29 in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

You might find yourself en route to the big game; or perhaps to a dinner and cocktails at a trendy eatery or bar; a unique G-Star shopping experience; or even an overnight adventure in another city with flights and accommodation included.

Every experience is better when shared with your besties/bros/homies/peeps/Baes. So put on your best threads, clear your diary and tap that app to catch one of the available Heineken Chauffeurs! Remember, they’re going to be popular, so if at first you don’t succeed, well…. you know what to do.

How many people can I bring with me?

We encourage you to bring up to 3 friends with you to the Heineken Chauffeur. The experiences will be for up to 4 people so make sure you make the most of it!

Can we pick up my friend? He’s just around the corner.

You’ll need to coordinate your friends before you get in the Heineken Chauffeur. This is to ensure the highest number of people possible get access to the range of experiences on each night.

What do I do once I get out of the car?

Please wear the wristbands given to you by The Heineken Chauffeur. Just show it to the Heineken staff that will greet you at the destination or to security staff. They will tell you what happens next.

Is it free?

The Heineken Chauffeur is completely free.

If you are signing up to Uber for the first time, you may notice a $1 pre-authorisation charge on your account. Rest assured this is only used to verify that your credit card is real and never actually removes any funds from your account. This charge will be reversed as soon as verification has been made.

How do I get home?

Like all great adventures, ours are one-way only. Simply book a regular uberX or UberBLACK to get home!

Can I do this more than once?

You can only book The Heineken Chauffeur once, but you’re more than welcome to travel with another friend who’s booked the experience. So tell your friends and get them to try too!

Can I drink in the Heineken Chauffeur?

Consuming alcohol in the Heineken Chauffeur is not allowed. You’ll have to wait until you get to the secret location if you want to crack open a Heineken.
