Streets Beach, South Bank
This inner city man-made beach is a family favourite. Patrolled by qualified lifeguards year-round, Streets Beach is completely self-contained and surrounded by parks and palm trees.

Palm Beach
Framed by Tallebudgera and Currumbin creeks, Palm Beach is a laid-back stretch of shoreline edged with rambling beach shacks and million-dollar mansions. It’s only 10 minutes from the airport, so make it your first stop on landing.

Sunshine Beach, Noosa
Noosa’s Sunshine Beach boasts beautiful turquoise waters and a string of hip shops and cafes nearby. It’s perfect for swimming or surfing.

Main Beach
Living up to its name, this beach is the principle beach of Southport, on the northern end of the Gold Coast. Make sure you visit the old bathing pavillion for a coffee or a chiko roll, and soak some rays on the sand.

King’s Beach, Caloundra
This Sunshine Coast beach is popular year-round, especially with families. Had enough of the surf? Take a dip in the oceanfront saltwater pool, or a walk to the picturesque Caloundra Lighthouses.
