If you received an email from us about daily payments, good news:
We will be running a pilot program with a small selection of driver-partners in Perth, Adelaide and Sydney where payments will be processed daily. For 6 weeks starting Monday, May 29 2017 your payments will be processed each weekday for the trips taken the previous day (4am – 3:59am).
FAQ
- What is the start and end time for daily payments?
Daily payment processing is for trips completed from 4am from the day before, to 3:59am on the day of processing. The payment will be processed on that day and should take no longer than previous payments to appear in your account. - If a trip started before the end time 3:59am and ended after the end time 3:59am, would it be included in the daily payment for the day or the following day?
Trips requested before 3:59am will be included in that day’s daily payment cycle, however a trip that starts prior to 3:59am and lasts for a significant amount of time may be included in the next days payment cycle instead. - Will all my trips be included in daily payments?
Some trip payments may require approval before payment processed. Once approved, fares will be paid according to the normal weekly payment schedule. - If I’m offered an incentive will it be included in daily payments?
No, incentives will be included in your weekly payout. - If there are extra funds to be transferred to my account for payment made yesterday ie Fare Review, Incentive Dispute, etc – when can I expect to see the outstanding paid to me?
For any outstanding payment, expect to receive them as usual by the following week Friday. - Will I see a daily payment view in the Driver App and also receive daily emails of my payment statements?
Yes, you can see your payment in-app as well as via daily emails. - Why am I not included in this program?
This is a pilot program with a small group of drivers. Depending on the outcome, we may extend it to all drivers in the near future. We will let you know if you become eligible for this program. - How can I be included in this program?
As this is a pilot program for a small group of drivers, there is no opt in process. - If I don’t want to be part of this program how can I remove myself?
You can contact us via in-app help if you would prefer to opt out of this and we will revert you back to weekly payments. It will take up to 5 business days to complete this process. - What bank do I have to use to be eligible?
There are no requirements in terms of which back you use. Your current bank you have been receiving weekly payment from Uber will work just fine. - Can daily payments be added to a credit card instead?
Unfortunately not, we specifically require a bank account to transfer funds.
