Uber is excited to team up again with the Adelaide Fringe Festival as the official ride of the festival, taking place from 15 February – 17 March 2019.
Known as the southern hemisphere’s largest arts festival, Fringe is set to dazzle audiences with a spectacular program of cabaret, comedy, music, art, performance, and circus acts.
More than a million visitors will flock to Adelaide during Fringe, so we expect roads to be busier than usual. Now is a great time to earn money while getting festival-goers from A to B across the city.
Here’s our guide to ensuring driver-partners and riders enjoy a smooth and reliable experience on the Uber platform.
How to access the Uber pickup and dropoff zones
To make pickups easier during Fringe, we have dedicated Uber pickup zone in the East End of Adelaide. Here’s how to access the zones:
- Enter the zone on East Terrace from either Bartels Road or Botanic Road
- There will be no entry from Rundle Road, Rundle Street or Grenfell Rd due to road closures
- The pickup area will be next to Rymill Park on East Terrace Road
- The Uber zone will operate differently on the Superloop weekend: stay tuned for more information in the lead up to the weekend of 28 Feb- 3 Mar 2019.
