Adelaide, it’s time for something big.
For a limited time, we’re operating Uber Funrides!
Uber Funrides are designed to deliver a fun and amusing experience as you get around town.
Request a ride, and a nearby driver will be there in minutes to take you where you need to go – for just $4.99!
While en route, have fun, take a selfie in the Photobooth, and you might even get a taste of how uberX ridesharing could work if it were available in Adelaide.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Request the ‘Funrides’ option. Funrides are available all day, every day and until further notice all fares are $4.99.
Expect to be picked up in a 2006 or later vehicle such as a Toyota Prius, Camry, or Holden Cruze. Take a fun selfie in the Photobooth, and upload it to social to show your support for bringing ridesharing to SA.
As always, safety is our top priority – all drivers have passed stringent background, driving history and vehicle checks, while all trips are tracked and insured.
Demand will be high, and availability may be limited, so please try to share the fun around! Drivers will only be picking up and dropping off within Adelaide’s core service area. This promotion complies with passenger transport regulations in South Australia.

The SA Government recently launched a review into how Adelaide transport could be improved.
Although Funrides is designed for your fun and amusement, it may also give you a taste of how ridesharing could work in Adelaide. If you like it, we’d encourage you to let the SA Government know that you’d like to see uberX in Adelaide.
Make sure you take a selfie in the back of the car, upload it to social media, and let the Premier, @jayweatherill, and the Transport Minister, @smullighan, know that you’d like to see the safety, reliability and affordability of uberX in South Australia!
