Dubai, make room for Van XL!

Van XL is now the largest ride option available via the Uber app in Dubai, connecting riders with vehicles having at least 7+ passenger seats. 

You can now request premium minivan vehicles with luxurious interiors, additional seats and luggage space, compared to other ride options. Whether you are going on a family holiday (and packed one too many bags), or going to an event or night out with a group of friends or colleagues, Van XL has  you covered.

What does Van XL bring to you?

We have heard from riders that when they travel from the airport, or when they ride in large groups, they are looking for premium vehicles with enough space for their luggage and travel groups. Van XL is our largest ride option for such occasions. 

How is Van XL different from UberXL? 

Vehicles eligible for Van XL trips are ‘people-mover’ vehicles with a minimum of 7+ passenger seats and a high-end interior for the most comfortable ride experience possible.  On the other hand, vehicles eligible for Uber XL trips are those with a minimum of 6 passenger seats and includes vehicles which are not necessarily people movers/minivans (i.e. SUVs).

How much will a Van XL trip cost?

Van XL is our premium ride option for larger groups. The recommended fare for a Van XL trip will be higher than an equivalent trip taken using the UberXL ride option.
