Driving is more than just getting people from point A to B. Every day, driver-partners do their best to make your life easier—from getting you to the big business meeting on time, your best friend’s birthday, to your favorite team’s match.
You can now show your appreciation for going the extra mile by tipping your driver through the Uber app after the trip has completed.
How it works
- After rating your trip you’ll be able to tip your driver by choosing from a range of custom amounts or entering a custom one
- Tap done to confirm and send your tip
Important things to know
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Uber app downloaded
- Tipping is valid on both Uber rides and Uber Eats
- Tipping is available on credit card trips only
