Balaji Krishnamurthy is Chief Financial Officer at Uber. In his role, he is responsible for Uber’s financial strategy and capital allocation, as well as the company’s accounting, tax, treasury, and investor relations functions.
Earlier in his career at Uber, Balaji was the divisional CFO for Mobility and Delivery, overseeing financial performance for the company’s two largest business units. He also led the company’s Investor Relations team, which has been consistently recognized as best in class.
Earlier in his career, Balaji spent eight years at Goldman Sachs in equity research based in San Francisco, covering U.S. hardware and communications technology companies.
He started his career in India, having earned a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and an MBA from Management Development Institute. Balaji holds a CFA charter.
