How to drive with Uber
Uber is a great way to be your own boss and earn extra cash. Most folks are eligible to drive on the Uber platform—here’s what you need to know.
Vehicle requirements
The most important thing is that you have a car that meets the following requirements:
- Model year 2006 or newer
- 4-door vehicle with a trunk
- Excellent aesthetic and mechanical condition
Documents
To register in the Uber app, you must be at least 18 years old and have the following documents:
- A valid driver’s license
- A photo of the vehicle registration
Remember that it’s necessary to visit the Greenlight Hub to complete your activation process.
It's easy to get started
1. Sign up online
Tell us about yourself and your car, if you have one. If you don’t, we’ll help you get one.
2. Share some documents
We’ll need a copy of your driver's license and some information for a screening. You can also sign your agreements online and add a vehicle to your account.
3. Activate your account
Bring your car to a local activation center, or partner with a transport company and drive using their vehicles. Requirements vary by city, so sign up to see more information.

- Fotos borrosas
- Aparecer con gorro, anteojos de sol u otro accesorio que no permita ver tu rostro claramente
