Uber is a great way to be your own boss and earn extra cash. Most folks are eligible to drive on the Uber platform—here’s what you need to know.
Anybody can drive with Uber, although there are a few minimum requirements::
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have at least one year of driving experience
- Have a valid EU driver's license
- Have a Danish CPR number
- Use an eligible 4-door vehicle that is a maximum of 10 years old
Before hitting the road, share the following documentation:
- A valid Danish or EU driver’s license
- A valid Danish health insurance card.
- Picture of your car clearly showing the entire car and license plate
After uploading your driver’s license, you will receive a request for you to authorize Uber BV to check your record with the Central Crime Registry within 24 hours.
You will find the request in your digital mailbox (e-boks), where you receive official communication from the government.
