About the Role
Restaurant Partners are central to Uber Eats. As the Mid Market Team Lead, Account Management, you will lead a high-performing team of Account Managers responsible for growing, retaining, and developing Uber Eats’ Mid Market restaurant partners.
In this role, you will act as a commercial leader and coach for your team, ensuring strong partner relationships, disciplined account planning, and consistent execution against growth and retention targets. You will work closely with Territory Leads, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to unlock opportunities across the Mid Market segment and scale best practices across the business.
Based in Berlin, this is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strong commercial mindset, excellent people leadership, and the ability to translate data and market insights into clear actions for your team and partners.
---What You Will Do---
Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and coach a team of Account Managers focused on Mid Market restaurant partners. Support the team across onboarding, development, performance management, and career growth.
Mid Market Growth: Own the commercial performance of the Mid Market AM team, driving partner growth, retention, revenue uplift, and adoption of Uber Eats products and solutions.
Strategic Account Management: Ensure the team builds strong account plans, identifies growth opportunities, and acts as a trusted advisor to key restaurant partners.
Commercial Excellence: Set clear targets, establish strong operating rhythms, and use data-driven insights to improve sales performance, partner engagement, and retention.
Partner Engagement: Support the team in strategic partner conversations, including business reviews, growth planning, upselling, and issue resolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Territory Leadership to align Mid Market initiatives with regional and national priorities.
Scalable Playbooks: Develop and implement repeatable commercial playbooks that help the team scale best practices across the Mid Market segment.
---What You Will Need---
Experience: 5–10 years of professional experience, including proven experience in Account Management, Sales, Customer Success, or Commercial Leadership.
People Leadership: Experience leading, coaching, or developing target-driven commercial teams in a fast-paced environment.
Data-Driven Approach: Comfortable using data to diagnose performance, prioritize opportunities, and guide team execution.
Commercial Mindset: Strong ability to identify growth opportunities, drive revenue, manage performance, and translate insights into action.
Account Management Expertise: Strong understanding of strategic account planning, partner development, upselling, retention, and stakeholder management.
Segment Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Mid Market segment, including partner needs, commercial potential, scalability, and operational complexity.
Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across different teams and seniority levels.
Language: Fluency in German and English
