Sales Manager, Uber Eats, Romania

Sales, Sales & Account Management
in Bucharest, Romania

About the Role

As a Sales Manager for Uber Eats in Romania, you will lead a team of Sales Representatives navigating a fast-paced, high-stakes marketplace where partnerships aren't built on a standard playbook, but through resourcefulness, grit, and trust. Leading here means setting direction in motion, coaching your team through the messy realities of a rapidly evolving industry, and making tough calls under pressure. This role isn't about maintaining a static pipeline; it's about building a high-performing sales culture, unlocking value for our partners, and owning the growth of both your team and our business in Romania. If you are energized by ambiguity, motivated by tangible real-world impact, and thrive on guiding others to exceed their potential in a dynamic environment, this is where you'll make your mark.

What You’ll Do

  • Coach, mentor, and elevate a team of Sales Representatives, focusing on commercial coaching and building their skills to consistently exceed acquisition and revenue targets
  • Drive consistent execution and pipeline health across the team, balancing immediate tactical sales goals with long-term strategic growth objectives
  • Navigate internal complexity and cross-functional dynamics, partnering with Sales Operations, Account Management, Marketing, and City Operations to remove blockers and align on market priorities
  • Guide your team through challenging negotiations, pricing pushbacks, and objections, using data-driven insights to create mutual value for clients and Uber
  • Foster an inclusive, high-accountability team culture that embraces diverse perspectives, stays resilient through challenges, and learns from failures
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to Territory Leadership, analyzing performance trends and market data to help shape short- and long-term growth strategies in Romania
  • Prioritize high-impact initiatives, showing resourcefulness to maximize team velocity and eliminate low-value activities when resources or timelines are tight

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience
  • Experience with full-cycle sales processes in metrics-driven environments
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct sales management or people leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • High emotional intelligence with a proven track record of coaching and developing top sales talent
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and CRM tools (like Salesforce) to inform strategy, forecast accuracy, and track team performance
  • Experience managing diverse sales structures, including both Inside Sales and Field Sales teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and guide a team through constant change
