The Retail vertical is a startup within Uber, a team focussed on growth, but with the support and leverage of Uber’s large global delivery and ridesharing businesses. It is the delivery of everything that isn’t restaurant food - think groceries, essentials, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, beauty, electronics, and more... We are creating something brand new!

Uber Ireland is looking for a Partner Manager - a hands-on generalist who can own business relationships - to shape and scale our new Retail vertical. This role calls for a combination of project management, relationship management, operational optimization, data analysis and complex problem-solving.
The role calls for a combination of operational mindset, savvy number-crunching, and outstanding relationship management. You should thrive in an “all hands on deck” environment, love solving problems, thrive in a startup culture, and above all be passionate about our Grocery & Retail partners.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Optimize our merchant partners' business and operational performance on Uber Eats
- Foster deep relationships with merchant partners, identifying and acting on opportunities to take their delivery business to the next level
- Bring your analytical A-game - you will be building business models, performing trend analysis, providing actionable insights, and tracking the success of initiatives to ensure we are driving towards the best possible outcome
- Tackle or escalate complex operational issues for timely resolution for merchant partners
- Drive and support key initiatives across our business teams to grow strategic and long term opportunities with our various partners, which involves wearing many hats and jumping in to help your teammates when the needs arise
- Attract and onboard new merchant partners to join our platform
What youll have
- 3+ years of professional experience in a client facing role working with large or mid-sized accounts
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, Master’s Degree a plus
- Experience with Google Sheets and/or Excel
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly autonomous - comfortable with driving your own initiatives and working with minimal oversight
- Instinct for handling partners with a consistent track record of successfully handling complex partnerships

- Data-driven decision-making mentality and sound commercial judgment
- Critical thinker with creative problem solving skills
- Experience with Salesforce and SQL
