Chief of Staff, APAC Delivery
About the role
We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to partner closely with the Regional General Manager for Delivery in APAC, helping drive focus, alignment, and impact across a complex and fast-moving business. Sitting at the center of the leadership team, this role is a unique opportunity to work across strategy, operations, and team effectiveness—thought-partnering with leaders on critical topics and challenges, orchestrating how the leadership team operates, and ensuring priorities translate into action. It’s a high-impact role with broad exposure across markets and functions, ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving problems, and is equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
What you’ll do
Strategic Thought Partnership & Influence
- Thought Partnership: Serve as a thought-partner to the RGM and leadership team on key strategic and operational priorities, helping shape direction and pressure-test ideas.
- Impact Focus: Ensure the leadership team remains focused on the highest-impact initiatives while discerning executive-level influence needs.
- Flexibility: Operate with total flexibility—switching seamlessly between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution as required.
Leadership Team Effectiveness & Operating Rhythm
- Leadership engagement: Design and lead key leadership forums and interactions ensuring the APAC Delivery LT and cross-functional LT is highly effective in delivering on strategies.
- Action Orientation: Drive fast decision-making and ruthless follow-through across the organization, driving accountability to ensure decisions turn into execution.
Strategic Communications & Narrative
- Executive Voice & Comms: Shape and deliver clear, compelling communication on priorities, performance, and change initiatives on behalf of the RGM to a variety of audiences.
- Global Influence: Craft the strategic narratives required to influence global stakeholders and champion the needs of the APAC business.
Culture, Team Health & Regional Engagement
- Team Culture: Support the RGM in fostering a high-performing, collaborative leadership team culture and a strong culture across the broader organisation
- Organizational Friction: Help identify and address organizational friction points to improve clarity and team effectiveness.
- Regional Offsites: In collaboration with Strategy & Planning, EAs, and HRBPs, design and deliver offsites and engagement initiatives that balance strategy with team building. Travel across the region to facilitate sessions, align disparate teams, and strengthen leadership cohesion.
Special Projects
- Ambiguous Problem Solving: Lead select, high-priority, and often ambiguous projects that do not have a natural home.
- AI Acceleration: Directly accelerate and amplify AI impact within the leadership team and the broader organization.
What you will need
- 8+ years experience driving business impact in operations, strategy, or program management within fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
- Strategic Business Acumen: The ability to see the "big picture" and navigate complex internal structures to drive results.
- Influence & Presence: High discretion and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, discerning when to push and how to craft narratives and agendas that gain buy-in.
Exceptional operational rigor: highly organized, fast paced operator, effective in driving follow through among large and senior teams
Excellent AI Fluency: ability to leverage AI effectively to drive impact in leadership teams and accelerate adoption throughout the organization
Cross-functional execution skills: driving initiatives and influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
Excellent written communication skills: Expert written and verbal skills, with a knack for turning complex data into clear, persuasive stories and actionable recommendations for senior leadership and diverse audiences.
Preferred
- Experience supporting a VP, Regional GM, or senior functional leader in a Chief of Staff or Strategy & operations capacity
- Familiarity with marketplace, delivery, mobility, e-commerce, or other operationally intensive business models.
