About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and operationally strong Manager of Employee Data Operations to lead our employee data team within People Operations. In this role, you will oversee the integrity, governance, and operational management of employee data across HR systems, primarily within Oracle HCM.

You will be responsible for leading a team that manages employee data administration, mass data updates, data quality monitoring, and employee lifecycle data governance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring employee data remains accurate, compliant, and scalable as the organization evolves.

As a leader, you will partner closely with HR, HRIS, compliance, and operational stakeholders to ensure employee data processes are efficient, standardized, and aligned with global governance standards. You will also drive continuous improvement by identifying systemic data issues, implementing scalable solutions, and strengthening the operational frameworks that support employee data management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and develop the Employee Data Operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight for Employee Data Associates, Admins, and Analysts responsible for maintaining employee data accuracy across HR systems.
  • Oversee mass data load operations within Oracle HCM, ensuring changes are executed accurately, validated appropriately, and aligned with governance and compliance standards.
  • Establish and maintain operational frameworks, documentation, and escalation paths that support efficient employee data administration and lifecycle management.
  • Champion employee data quality by implementing audits, validations, and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
  • Partner with HR, HRIS, and compliance teams to maintain employee data governance practices that align with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and SOX controls.
  • Drive root cause analysis for recurring employee data issues and implement scalable solutions to prevent future data inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support large-scale employee data initiatives such as organizational changes, system implementations, or global workforce updates.
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and testing activities to ensure employee data processes function effectively within Oracle HCM.
  • Develop and monitor reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into employee data quality, operational performance, and emerging risks.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve employee data processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with employee data, HR operations, or HRIS systems.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing teams responsible for employee operations or HR data administration.
  • Experience working with Oracle HCM or similar HRIS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and employee data structures within HR systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams while driving process improvements and governance initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information.
  • Experience managing mass data loads using Oracle HDL or similar HRIS data upload tools (EIBs).
  • Experience implementing employee data governance frameworks, data quality monitoring, or audit processes.
  • Experience supporting HR system implementations, migrations, or upgrades.
  • Experience working within a global HR operations or shared services environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional partners on employee data best practices.
