2026 Treasury Fall Intern, Vanderbilt
About the Role
Uber is currently looking for students to join our Treasury Team for the fall of 2026. This role will be a rotational program between Risk Management and Capital Markets. You’ll be embedded within our Treasury Team, seeing first-hand how we execute and directly contributing to some of our global priorities, which have broader company impact.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely to understand our interest rate and foreign exchange risk management strategies
- Help define Uber's capital structure strategy to support growth while maintaining a disciplined approach to credit and investor engagement.
- Support investment related analysis, including cash portfolio monitoring and performance reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally across partner groups to meet treasury goals
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program with expected graduation date of December 2027 - May 2028
- Basic knowledge of Google Suite
- Experience working with Artificial Intelligence tools, ideally Google Gemini
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience synthesizing information quickly, distilling key takeaways, and presenting insights to leadership
- Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written.
- Self starter and can work well with ambiguity
- Involvement in extracurricular groups, activities, or internship opportunities
- Experience working with large sets of structured and unstructured data and synthesizing into business insights (e.g., using SQL, Salesforce). Nice to have but not required.
- Having found ways to leverage AI tools to uplevel your own productivity or quality of work is a plus.
About the Team
The Treasury team owns, designs and implements Uber’s global banking infrastructure to ensure liquidity across all entities, optimize cash balances and support global business expansion. Key functions include cash management, investments, and foreign exchange.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD$31.00 per hour.
