Manager, Recruiting (Sales, Uber Eats)
About the Role
At Uber Eats, we are in the business of fueling local economies. The "engine" of this mission is our US&C Sales organization, which partners with thousands of merchants across North America to bring the best of every neighborhood to our users' doorsteps.
We are looking for a Recruiting Manager to lead the team responsible for scaling our revenue-generating functions (Sales, Uber Eats). This is a high-impact role for a leader who thrives in a high-velocity, commercial recruiting environment. You will be the architect of a recruitment engine that identifies high-energy "closers" and builds a sustainable talent pipeline to meet our ambitious growth targets across the US and Canada. If you are passionate about the intersection of data-driven recruitment and aggressive sales growth, this is the place for you.
What You'll Do
- Drive US&C Sales Talent Strategy: Own the end-to-end recruitment strategy for our revenue-generating teams, ensuring a consistent flow of high-caliber talent across all levels of the sales organization.
- Drive Velocity at Scale: Lead a team of recruiters to hit aggressive monthly hiring targets, ensuring we have the right sales talent in the right cities to meet territory expansion goals.
- Pipeline Engineering: Build and maintain an "evergreen" pipeline of talent. You understand that in short-cycle sales, the need for talent is constant and speed-to-market is everything.
- Define the "Eats" Talent Bar: Standardize interview processes and assessment tools (like role-plays and pitch simulations) to ensure we are the right talent.
- Strategic Partnership: Act as the primary TA thought partner for US&C Sales VPs and Directors, providing data-driven insights on market trends, competitive intelligence, and hiring health.
- Data-Driven Leadership: Manage the recruitment funnel like a sales pipeline—analyzing conversion rates from lead-to-offer to eliminate friction and maximize efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of recruiting or relevant experience, with a heavy emphasis on high-volume Sales hiring.
- 2+ years of direct people management experience leading TA teams in high-growth environments
Preferred Qualifications
- High Velocity Sales Recruitment Expertise: Deep understanding of the talent profiles required for high-velocity, merchant-focused sales.
- Operational Excellence: Proven ability to manage "hiring classes" and large-scale ramp-ups across multiple geographic regions.
- Experience with iCIMS ATS and modern outbound sourcing tools.
- Adaptability: Proven track record of partnering with senior business leaders to align talent strategy with shifting quarterly sales goals.
