Analyst, Ad Effectiveness - UK
About the Role
The Ad Effectiveness team equips the Uber Advertising organization and our clients with a 360° view of critical decision-making dimensions, including how to measure campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization. In this role, you will work within the ad measurement strategy organization to operationalize new measurement product development, partnerships, and capabilities that meet the needs of our customers.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Translate concepts, measurement solutions, and underlying statistical fundamentals of the ads efficacy and measurement ecosystem to the needs of advertisers across verticals
- Structure and conduct analyses to generate campaign effectiveness outcomes and recommendations
- Create and present compelling narratives to senior leadership at clients and at Uber
- You will track unaddressed advertiser requirements, identifying opportunities for new strategic initiatives
- This role reports into and will work in close collaboration with the Ad Measurement Strategy Lead
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of advanced analytics and measurement experience within a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, advertiser, or research company
- Experience with third-party measurement providers such as Kantar, Foursquare, Circana, iSpot, etc.
- Strong stakeholder management
- A deep understanding of attribution modeling, market mix modeling, multi-variate testing, brand and conversion lift
- Experience with any of the following: SQL,R, SPSS/STATA, Tableau
- A strong understanding of the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem
- Experience with ads measurement for one or more of the following verticals: technology, retail, entertainment, restaurants, travel, CPG, telco, or finance
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in business, math, statistics, economics, or a related field
- Experience building and influencing client or partner relationships
- Experience with team or peer leadership and development
