Sr Software Engineer - IOS
About the Role
Uber Courier is a product on Uber Rider app that allows any consumer to request a delivery from or to any other consumer within their city. This can be anything from sending documents for signature or returning forgotten keys. The role will work alongside a cross-functional engineering team to deliver product features on the roadmap to propel the product growth, collaborating with backend & Android engineers, product manager, designers and data scientist.

- Collaborate and work within a team with other engineers, Product Managers, Designers and others to build towards the roadmap.
- Write high quality code and uphold standards for code quality and testing coverage.
- Contribute to engineering operational areas on quality, monitoring, and on-call practices.
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of working experience in IOS development
- Proficient in common algorithms and data structure fundamentals.
- Strong Communication and experience in working with cross-functional roles such as product managers and product designers, capable of translating business and product requirements into software engineering designs, and breaking down tasks for execution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives across teams
- Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams

- Cross-platform experience (both Android and iOS)
- Experience in developing mobile apps used by millions of users
