About the Role

As an OB AE Team Leader at Uber Eats, you’ll be leading a high-performing team responsible for bringing new restaurants onto the platform through outbound sales strategies. Your team’s mission is to expand Uber Eats’ footprint by targeting high-potential local favorites and emerging brands. Your leadership will directly impact market growth, revenue, and the overall merchant experience.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

  1. Lead, coach, and develop a team of outbound Account Executives to exceed acquisition targets.
  2. Monitor pipeline health, track performance metrics, and implement strategies to drive team success.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, operations) to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new merchants.
  4. Provide regular feedback, training, and career development support for team members.
  5. Analyze market trends and merchant feedback to continuously refine outbound sales approaches.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  1. 3+ years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or a similar fast-paced commercial environment.
  2. Proven leadership skills with at least 1 year of experience managing or mentoring a team.
  3. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across levels.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

  • Prior experience in the food delivery, tech, or startup space.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving team performance in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and data analysis tools like Excel or Looker.
  • Passion for Uber Eats’ mission and a customer-first mindset.
