Performance Marketing Program Manager, Paid Channels
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive team member to join the Strategic Projects team within Uber’s Paid Marketing organization. This role will focus on leading planning and operational initiatives that help us execute against high-priority strategic goals.
You’ll be responsible for building structured plans with clear milestones, optimizing existing processes, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring we deliver on key initiatives. While this role is deeply embedded in Paid Marketing, it does not involve direct channel management — instead, it focuses on program-level strategy, planning, and execution.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in performance marketing who thrives on building structure, enjoys bringing order to complexity, and is eager to grow into a strategic thought partner over time.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and improve core planning and operational processes across the Paid Marketing organization.
- Own and manage strategic, cross-functional projects from inception through execution.
- Partner with channel managers to test and scale new initiatives and track their outcomes.
- Stay informed on business priorities and performance trends to ensure marketing plans stay aligned.
- Communicate progress and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Data Science.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Paid Marketing, preferably with a focus on execution or operations.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional projects and delivering outcomes.
- Strong planning and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-starter: You take initiative, work independently, and identify ways to improve how we work.
- Operational problem solver: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rolling up your sleeves to find a path forward.
- Strong communicator: Able to distill complex topics into clear, concise updates for diverse audiences.
- Strategic mindset (or growth potential): You see the bigger picture and are curious about how Paid Marketing can drive business impact across different stages of the funnel.
- Global tech industry experience.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
