Software Engineer II, iOS - User Generated Content

On the Social Proof/User Generated Content Engineering team, we're shaping how millions of users experience Uber Eats by leveraging authentic user-generated content. Our work empowers consumers with real-time insights from eaters, merchants, and couriers, making every interaction on Uber Eats more personal, engaging, and inspiring.
We build innovative, scalable systems to seamlessly collect, moderate, and amplify social content across the Eats ecosystem. From AI-driven moderation to dynamic content showcases, you'll help create experiences that deeply resonate with our community, driving discovery, trust, and loyalty.
As part of our team, you'll work on transformative projects that bridge content creation and consumption, collaborating closely with diverse teams across Uber to shape the future of social engagement and community-building at scale.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 3-years full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 3-years total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:
Native iOS
iOS Swift, iOS Objective-C
Note the 3-year total of specialized software engineering experience may have been gained through education and full-time work experience, additional training, coursework, research, or similar (OR some combination of these). The year of specialized experience is not necessarily in addition to the years of Education & full-time work experience indicated.
