How to sign up and link accounts
In order to link your accounts, you must have both an Uber and Aeroplan account. If you do not have either, you can easily sign up for free.
Step 1: Scan this QR Code on your phone

- If you do not have the Uber app, this QR code will lead you to download the Uber app in the App Store or Play Store.
Step 2: Open your account settings in the Uber app
Open the Uber app and tap your profile image, then tap Settings. If you are on your mobile device, click the link below.
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the settings page
Scroll down to the Rewards section and tap Aeroplan, then tap Link Account on the next screen.
Step 4: Link your account
Follow the instructions on the account-linking page. Now you’re ready to start earning Aeroplan points with Uber.

- Do I need an Aeroplan account to earn points?
Yes. If you are not an Aeroplan Member, you can join in less than 60 seconds for free at Aeroplan.com, then link your Aeroplan account to your Uber account within the Uber or Uber Eats app.
- Can anyone sign up to get Aeroplan points on Eats and Rides with Uber?
Anyone in Canada can earn Aeroplan points on eligible Uber Eats orders and qualifying rides with Uber. Uber users who do not currently have an Aeroplan account can join for free at Aeroplan.com. Only one Aeroplan Member account can be linked per Uber user.
- Do I need to link my Aeroplan account to both the Eats and Rides apps to earn points?
You only need to link your Aeroplan account through either the Uber app or Uber Eats app, and you’ll start earning Aeroplan points on both eligible rides with Uber and eligible Uber Eats orders.
- Do I need to be in Canada to earn points?
You can earn Aeroplan points and flight credits on eligible Uber rides in Canada. You can earn Aeroplan points on eligible Uber Eats orders when they’re placed in Canada.
- What can I do with Aeroplan points?
Aeroplan points can be redeemed for travel to more than 1,300 destinations across the globe, as well as for hotels, car rentals, merchandise, and gift cards through the Aeroplan eStore. Learn more about redeeming Aeroplan points.
- How do I earn the Air Canada Flight Credit?
Once you have linked your Aeroplan and Uber accounts, you will earn an Air Canada flight credit for every 10 Uber rides you take (excluding UberX Share) in Canada. The flight credit will appear in your Aeroplan Member dashboard within 6-8 weeks.
- What can I use the Air Canada Flight Credit for?
Linked members can use their Air Canada Flight Credit for any new Air Canada, Air Canada Express and Air Canada Rouge booking that is made directly through an Air Canada channel such as aircanada.com or the Air Canada mobile app. The Air Canada Flight Credit cannot be used for Air Canada Vacations or for any other airline (e.g. United Airlines, Lufthansa) booking even if made through Air Canada.
*Premium rides include Uber Comfort, Uber Comfort Electric, Uber Business Comfort, Uber XL, Uber Premier, Uber Premier SUV, Uber Black, and Uber Black SUV.
