UF Safe Rides: Gators riding late save 25% on Uber

We’ve partnered with the University of Florida Student Government to help students ride with ease during late nights around campus.

From 9pm – 3am Wednesday through Sunday weekly, UF students are eligible for 25% off Uber rides that begin and end within the provided zone (see below). To redeem this discount, students just have to apply a unique promo code provided by UF’s Student Government in their Uber rider app.

To access your promo code, visit UF’s Safe Rides page, then log in with your GatorLink info. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be provided with a promo code. Learn how to apply the promo code in the Uber rider app below.

UF Safe Rides must begin and end in the zone in the map below and are available from 9pm – 3am on Wednesday through Sunday nights
UF Safe Rides trips are 25% off
Rides that either begin or end outside of the zone will not be discounted
UF will provide unique promo codes for eligible students via its student portal
You will request the ride on the UberX vehicle view. The original price of the trip will be crossed out in gray, and the 25% discount will be reflected in the black number above the original price—this is the cost you will be charged for your trip.
Safe Rides promo codes are valid through June 30, 2019

Enter your unique code
You can find your unique UF promo code in the UF student portal. To unlock the Safe Rides discount, tap the Menu bar in the upper-right corner, then select the Payment option. Enter your promo code by tapping Add Promo/Gift Code.
Request a UF Safe Ride
Enter your destination, select the Safe Rides option, then tap Request. You will only be able to request a Safe Ride during the eligible times. When you request a ride during the eligible times, your ride within the UF campus area will be discounted.*

Available Wednesday through Sunday nights from 9pm-3am.
