Ride for a Cause to Southern Ground Music & Food Festival

It’s never been easier to have a great time while giving back to a great cause!

We’re excited to announce our partnership with the Southern Ground Music & Food Festival benefitting Camp Southern Ground, a summer camp dedicated to providing typical and special needs children with the tools to overcome social, academic, and emotional difficulties so that they may reach their full potential. Camp Southern Ground is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is the passion project of GRAMMY Award winning artist Zac Brown.

Any new user who signs up for Uber using the code “SOUTHERNGROUND16” will receive up to $20 off their first trip. The best part? For each first trip taken on the “SOUTHERNGROUND16” code, Uber will donate $3 directly to Camp Southern Ground. It’s that easy!

Already an Uber user? You can donate to Camp Southern Ground directly through their website.

All Uber users will receive a $5 discount off all Southern Ground festival merchandise when you show a valid trip receipt from your ride to the festival.

Your receipt is automatically emailed to the address associated with your Uber account upon the completion of your trip, so just pull it up on your smartphone and show it to the attendant at the merch tent. Only trip receipts from rides taken directly to or from the 2016 festival will count as valid to receive the discount, and the discount only applies to 2016 festival merchandise available on-site. Discount is valid for both new and existing Uber users.

Uber has a designated pick-up and drop-off zone located at 110 Benefitfocus Way, just down the road from MUSC Health Stadium. The festival will be running shuttles consistently throughout the weekend between the Uber Zone and MUSC Health Stadium to accomodate riders coming and going from Southern Ground.
