Important Information
You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program (“Member”) to earn and redeem Qantas Points. Join for free. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
These terms and conditions exist in addition to the Uber terms and conditions. Uber’s terms and conditions govern all rides or ride requests.
Members who have linked their Uber account and complete an Eligible Ride will earn three Qantas Points per dollar spent on the final value of the Eligible Ride (‘Promotion’).
An Eligible Ride means a ride using the Uber mobile application for riders (‘Uber App’) requested using an Uber for Business company payment profile from 12.00am 1 June until 11.59pm 30 of June 2018, in Australia. Members should check with their company or employer whether they have an Uber for Business agreement, as this Promotion does not apply to trips taken by a Business Profile that is not associated with an Uber for Business agreement. An Eligible Ride does not include uberTAXI, uberEATS, trips taken via a Business Profile or Personal Payment profile method. Within the meaning of the Uber for Business agreement, this Promotion applies only to ‘User Charges’ and not ‘Service Fees’.
Qantas Points can only be earned on split fares where an Eligible Ride has been completed and Members have already linked their Uber and Frequent Flyer accounts. If a Member, regardless of whether they requested the Uber or not, has not linked their Uber and Frequent Flyer accounts then they will not earn Qantas Points. Qantas Points cannot be split between two or more Members taking the same eligible ride if only one Member pays for the ride. The Member who has requested and paid for the ride will earn the points.
Qantas Points will not be earned on cancelled or no-show trip requests. Qantas Points may take up to six weeks after your ride to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
The Uber App is a technology service to help connect riders and independent driver-partners, and neither Uber or Qantas are transport providers for rides requested or taken using the Qantas or Uber App.
