This Friday at 5pm, Uber goes LIVE in Happy Valley!
To kick off the fun, Mike “The Mailman” took the first uberX ride in Happy Valley. Mike fired open his Uber app and with two taps, requested an uberX ride. Within minutes, an Uber arrived, offering him a reliable and convenient ride to and from the Nittany Lion Shrine.

Starting Friday evening at 5pm, at the push of a button, you can request a safe, affordable ride from Bellefonte to Port Matilda and everywhere in between. The best part? To celebrate our arrival, your first 2 uberX rides in State College are free!

In State College, our ridesharing service, uberX, offers safe, reliable transportation. Our uberX driver partners have mid-range or hybrid vehicles in a variety of colors and styles, with seating for up to four passengers. All driver partners must undergo Uber’s rigorous background check and driving history check.
As always, your safety remains our highest priority. All Uber rides are backed by our PUC-approved insurance policy, and you will be prompted to rate your driver after every trip to help ensure the highest quality experience.
