We’re excited to announce that Uber is now available in Opelika!
We’ve been working to provide affordable, reliable transportation to everyone, and as of August 31, Uber is available in another city in Alabama. Riders in Opelika can open their Uber app and request a ride, and drivers will be able to log on and accept trip requests.

How it works:
- Open the Uber app.
- Tap the menu button in the upper-left corner, then tap Free Rides.
- Tap Send Invites and add as many friends as you’d like to share with, then tap Invite Friends to send the pre-prepared SMS message
