Invite a friend to try Uber for the first time using your unique code. If they take a ride between August 11 – 17, you’ll both be invited to attend our exclusive pool party and enjoy complimentary food, drinks, swag and the sounds of our surprise guest DJ.
How it works:
- To receive an invitation to the party, you must invite a new Uber user to add your unique invite code to the “Promotion” field when they sign up for an Uber account. See this article for how to access your invite code.
- Your friend must take at least one ride between August 11 – 17 in New Orleans for you, the inviter, to get an invitation to attend the pool party.
- If you qualify, you’ll be notified by email on or before August 19 if you are on the guest list.
About the pool party:
- You can bring one (1) person as a plus one to the pool party. We suggest you bring the person you invited… but you can bring anyone!
- The party will take place on Sunday August 21 from 12 pm – 3 pm at the Le Méridien New Orleans hotel rooftop pool located at 333 Poydras Street in New Orleans.
- Alcohol will be served, so all pool party attendees must be 21+. Government issued ID’s will be checked at the door.
- All attendees must sign a media release form and liability waiver to gain entry to the pool party.
- Only 100 people will be able to attend this exclusive pool party event. People on the guest list will be admitted based on capacity.
Can’t make it to the pool party?
That’s okay, we saved the best news for last. You can invite friends to try Uber with your invite code any day of the week! Your friend gets a discount off their first ride (up to $10), and you score a discount on your next ride (up to $20). Sweet deal!
