Uber Doha Signs a Milestone MoU for the MENA Region

In January 2014, Doha welcomed Uber on its roads to introduce a new mode of transportation.

Not only has it changed the way riders move around the city but it has also created many opportunities for drivers to optimize their time and earnings – our technology creates a safe, efficient and more reliable way to get from point A to point B. Two and a half years later and as we’ve gotten bigger, our commitment to continue serving 1000’s of riders just got more real as we signed the first of its kind agreement in the region with the Ministry of Transport and Communications in Qatar.
