From May 12-16, 21 airlines will be moving terminals at LAX, which means it’ll be helpful to double-check the proper terminal and gate for airport trips. Get everything you need to know to make sure you and your riders keep having smooth trips to the airport.
- Confirm the terminal at the beginning of the trip. Traditional terminal listings won’t be accurate. For example, Delta will be in up to 4 terminals at once during the transition. To minimize confusion, ask your rider to check his or her boarding pass (printed or mobile app) for the correct terminal location.
- Use the departures level. Per LAX regulations, you must use the departures level to pick up and drop off riders. If you are caught on the arrivals level or without your LAX placard, you may get a citation. Note: As of May 11, “Ride Service Pick Up” sign C will be permanently removed for pickups.
- Confirm the terminal again once you’re in the loop. With so many changes going on, it’s possible that your rider’s terminal may have changed by the time you get to the airport. Ask your rider to either check their mobile boarding pass or their airline’s website for the latest flight status.
While it’s a good idea to ask all your riders to confirm their terminal information, these are the 21 airlines that will be affected from May 12-16, listed with their new terminals:
