The ever so stylish Maria Silvestar loved the idea of Uber hitting the streets and was the first person in Sofia to request a ride. The fabulous actress, model and host of Bulgaria’s Got Talent, was ready for a night out when she fired up the app and was promptly picked up by an Uber car. She got a convenient ride, arriving at her destination safely and in style.
What is UberX?
UberX provides riders with a safe, reliable and affordable way to move across their cities, while providing drivers who use the platform the opportunity to help offset the cost of their personal cars.
UberX is our innovative peer-to-peer platform that allows individuals to share a ride and get around Sofia in a secure and reliable way. Uber provides unprecedented safety allowing the rider to receive the driver’s photo, name and car registration, while they watch the vehicle arrive in real time.

- Register with a valid debit or credit card. The entire experience is cashless and hassle free.
- Choose your pick-up location, request a ride and track your car in real-time.

Uber is still in testing phase, so availability in Sofia may be limited for a little while — but don’t worry, we’re working hard each day to get more cars on the road.
